What do you think?
Love It! DOD is probably on their way to his place as we speak.
The Clinton’s have probably patented it by now.
Cool as hell…but I can envision that going horribly wrong given my knowledge of modern electronics.
Scares the hell out of me. Truly. A machine can break, and do things its not supposed to do.
Look at those drones that fell out of the sky in Orlando. One hit a kid so hard it injured his heart and he needed open heart surgery. That was just some computer controlled entertainment drones messing up.
Nope. For me, if I plan on shooting something, I’m holding the gun, aiming it, and pressing the trigger myself. The Chinese already have robocops rolling around the big cities arresting people based on computer facial recognition. The last thing they need to add is this. I don’t like the way AI and robots are going, one bit.
But humans are perfect. LOL
Haven’t you seen Terminator and the Matrix? What could possibly go wrong;)
WAY off topic, but as we’ve said so many times, the winners write history. Iti s one of the many wonderful things about the Battlestar Galactica reboot; they have a 2 hour movie from the Cylon side of things. Everyone thinks that they’re on the right side of any given topic and that the data presented is all of the data. Elon is going through that with self driving, car fires, etc. His products are miles better than the competition, but people post one EV fire like they’re all on fire…when WAY more ICE cars burn by # and %. And self driving is already, even in its infancy, way safer than human drivers.
I’d love a robot protecting my stuff!
DOD already has this, a lot of them are on Navy ships. $5 bucks says he kills himself with it, AI will take him out, does he have battery back up when I cut the power to his house?
Why was hell inside of you?
Facts.
And you can present people all you want with the FACT that a Tesla self driving is exponentially safer than people, and the serious injury/fatality rate per mile is way lower, but people are all “I don’t trust no car I’ll do it myself” even though doing it themselves is more likely to result in death
But ya need a hell of a lot of R&D and testing and this and that for it and we are way past the beta on what consumer vehicles curently have…I still don’t want to be any part of beta or initial public rollout of anything new in these realms. Waiting for other people to be the guinepigs first
All I want to know is do you get a discount if you buy two.
Remember back when the horseless carriage came out? They said it is too dangerous to travel in one of those and it will never replace the horse.
