Got my Girsan MC P35I last saturday. It feels real good in my hand. However, when I went to break it down to clean the packing grease and lube it, I found the recoil spring rod is busted. The O at the end is now a C. Impossible to put back together and one wonders how they built it to begin with.
Now I could order a new rod but am thinking that this is a real odd thing to be busted. Therefore I am sending it back to Girsan to fix and inspect it. I hope it isnt a lemon.

Good call to send it back. Probably just a fluke.

Still kind of sucks. Like getting a toy for Christmas and finding its busted.
I wonder if they put the wrong spring in it. The slide was really hard to pull back and this model is a shortened version of the Hi Power.
We shall see.

Any firearm can have an issue right from the get go. It happens time to time. Return it, tell them how disappointing it is to receive this. I wish you luck.

I hope they toss in an extra mag or something. That would settle me a bit.
