THAT could be fun to play with.
It would essentially take 9 pellets and turn it into 18 after impact on target so you retain the mass and velocity going down range for primary impact and then double the amount of wound channels.
If it’s as good as they say I may have to rethink my #4 Buck loads.

I don’t agree with everything he says, but he does some good stuff.
I posted this under Friday Favorite-Shotgun. last week. I like Paul Harrell, he has many realistic vids. 
Fred_G has it. I would like to see Paul test the load compared to regular buckshot to see how much the split shot helps with over penetration.
I would love to see some gel (or meat) tests on this. 
Their so new no one has done one yet, looked over you-tube, nothing.
