Chipper my pooch watching over our corn patch.
He seems so mellow, and such a lover, but I’ve also seen what he looks like from a delivery person’s side of things. He is mellow and a lover, until you mess with his territory - a different side of him comes out then.
And he loves some home-grown, just-picked corn :-), so don’t mess with his corn!

In one neighborhood I lived in, every home had been burglarized except for mine. There were two differences; we kept our outside lights on at night and we had dogs. Our dogs then, and our dogs now, have free run of the entire property via a doggy door. Sure, it’s big enough for a thief to crawl through, but what kind of moron would put their face through a two foot high doggy door?

Our dog is rescued from a dog pound and we think she will put her life on the line to protect us. When we first got her my wife garbed me for a hug and our dog was growing at her but now she don’t care but is alert when a stranger comes to see us.
