National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act | USCCA Blog

Yes, this Bill has been around for awhile. But it hasn’t made it of committee yet. And I think the BIG push now is to get it out of committee and on the floor for a vote. and to show who is for it and who is against it for the 2022 election. And to also in that election to vote those that oppose it out of office so that it could be passed and become law. And I did sign the petition as well.

Truthfully, I don’t think we will get to vote for pizza toppings, let alone major policy changes especially in response to gun owners! They want us all buried!
These guys signed also this and now it’s being dismissed and burned!

My sentiments exactly.

That is sad. Something our ancestors have worked so hard for to be unappreciated and tryingly dismissed.

Well, what is there to do about it? For positive publicity in our favor. Not reflecting on anger but the bit of freedom and right to protect ourselves as American citizens that make us feel proud to be an American? Where is the spirit?

This proposal was around 3 years ago back when the supposedly pro 2A Republicans had control of the House, Senate and Presidency. Never made it out of committee then either. But it is a vital bill for helping restore 2A rights for people traveling to states that criminally deny those rights. So I’m all in for supporting it.

National reciprocity has been introduced every congress for YEARS. It has made it out of the house with republican controlled house on occasion but has never had the 60+ votes needed in the senate.

I really liked Tim’s email, joined the petition and will contact my legislators. I know my representative in the House will respond with a letter that he cannot support it, especially with all of the “gun violence” in Louisville, and the democrat controlled house will never give it a hearing in committee. If it did get to the senate, it would still be short the needed votes to pass it.

How can we get non-members more information so they can also sign the petition?

Use your social media contacts, Fakebook, WEME, Parlor, Twitter (if they allow such a thing) and so on…

Sad, but true I’m afraid.

@Danny28,
I really appreciate constructive discussions… and I wish we have such here… but could you please stop posting stupid stuff answering simple questions coming from people looking for help? :zipper_mouth_face:

His suggestions aren’t far off, using other social media may help get the word out if – and that’s a big IF – it doesn’t get removed.

Emailing your friends the links might be helpful and talk about it at the range or firearm retailers, @John170.

Wow!!! Are you serious??? I use all the social media I can to get important stuff out to as many people in my sphere of influence as fast as I can… Like pics of my Grandson.

It was a serious (and valid question) and I gave a serious (and valid answer).

@USCCA - :+1:

If other members feel I’m doing personal attacks - I’M SORRY FOR THIS. THIS IS NOT MY INTENTION.

@Danny28 - I apologize. That was my wrong understanding of your post. Yes, I know we have different point of views for a lot of things… but it only makes discussions better. Once again - I’m sorry.
And yes, I was upset about your recent posts on other threads…and looked I just did wrong judgment here.

But remember - it doesn’t mean “I’ll go away”… :wink:

If @moderators decide to delete, ban, hide my post - go ahead. I feel guilty this time ! :chains:

It takes two sides to have better discussions. You don’t like my “strawman argument” responses (not to be confused with strawman purchases-- another discussion)… well, those using them are not trying to have “better discussions” they are using “censored” arguments designed to make others look “censored”.

NONE of us should involve ourselves in meaningless and impossible arguments. Want serious answers??? Pose serious questions. Some people just want a fight and not answers. Some people just want to call us “vile disgusting racists” --Those people should be met with condemnation and ridicule … but…"censored"

This act is going no where. Look who is taking over the government. The people coming into power now are the biggest anti second amendment officials that we’ve ever seen. In what world do you live in to think that this act could pass with the biggest socialist, nae communist coming into office?

The reciprocity act won’t see the light of day. So you can sit here and talk about it all you want, but it’s just an empty conversation. Get ready for your second amendment rights to be slowly taken away in the next hundred days after Biden takes office.

Hopefully Congress decides to mull over it and have a discussion on the subject. If not, it will be the same as last year’s bill.

This act is as dead as Julius Cesar. Yesterday made that final, but was only a dream before then anyway.

You know what’s funny? We were this close to getting the hearing protection act… then the Las Vegas shooter put any pro-2A bills into the toilet. I’m not saying this bill is any closer that the HPA, but anything pro-2A is instantly getting flushed down the toilet after yesterday.
