My Man Mike Lee - What's the chance it gets passed into law?

Anti 2A folks will crap their britches “wild wild west…” “more guns more death…” “what about the children…”. Personally I’m good with it, law abiding citizens doing lawful things in public. But as we already know, this law has less than Zero Chance of being voted into law.

Wouldn’t that be nice. I would like to see how California and New York react to that.

Two can play that game. Democrats introduce outrageous anti-2A bills on a regular basis.

Inclined to agree. Seems I heard this story before. I was waiting on the machine gun thing here in WV, and KY joined in. Now, watching Liberty Doll on YouTube last night, seems one of our politicians “forgot” to forward the approval to the Senate (something like that) so if it didn’t head to the Senate by yesterday it’d be a year before it could advance again. I was psyched, not so much for the machine gun as for what it meant, renewed my wvcdl membership, then found out one of the organizations officers is hemming and hawing as well. Imo, one of the most pro 2a states in the nation, a 31-2 majority in the house, and some rino out to mess things up and a representative of our 2a organization being a damn fudd as well. Otoh, our governor said he’d sign the bill if it shows up on his desk … but wonder if he knows it won’t.

One of the other times this was proposed I still lived in CT, and emailed Blumenthal and Murphy. Blumenthal said “no way in CT” as states have different, or no, training requirements. I didn’t agree as it’s a right but could kind of see his take. Murphy just went rabid dogman on me in his response.

There are not enough balls on the right/conservative side of congress to get this passed. With the need of the commies to get anything through and knowing the anti gun stance of the democraps not much hope.

Well, this bill deserves a shot since anti-gun bills get thrown in our faces, why not throw in pro-gun bills into the mix and balance the playing field. Criminals carry prohibited firearms and carry them without permits all over the country with no reciprocity, and law-abiding citizens should have the very same constitutional right to legally carry their firearms without permits throughout our country EVERYWHERE, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT!!! It’s a RIGHT!!! Hopefully National Constitutional Carry Act will see the day of light and WILL BECOME LAW THAT WILL NEVER BE INFRINGED!!! And drop the Reciprocity :poop: across the country for good!!!

Massachusetts makes money off of permits. You need a permit for just about everything.

Because they can’t call them “taxes”

Back when I lived up in Illinois, they floated the idea of a conceal carry law. I and everyone I knew said it’d never happen.

It did. So, I learned yet again, to never say never.

State wide, things can change.

Nationally. Im not holding my breath. Both parties will resist just cuz they can and they will. Especially if Trump is president. Hope it does but can’t see it coming law.

Ironically, the swamp is supposed to pass laws to support the constitution and bill of rights, instead they are too worried about social issues that should be state issues.

Fire them all or atleast set term limits

We’d get national reciprocity if enough States made reciprocity of all licenses the issue.

If you don’t reciprocal respect to our firearm laws, then your drivers’ licenses and license plates are no good here!

Wasn’t one state senator sponsoring a bill at one time for a National Reciprocity? Wondering how far that went.

Will need 60 US Senate votes to pass which is unlikely. My 2 US Senators in IL, Dicky & Ducky, will vote along part lines and that is an unfortunate NO. Lets not hold our breath waiting because it will take quite some doing to get 60 favorable US Senate votes.
