Yep it’s really Real. Salt Lake City has chosen LGBT and Trans Rights flag patterns to be the City Flag. Our Mayor and City Council just can’t control themselves.

Well, at least as a whole, Utah is still a ‘red’ state. Unlike the beautiful state of Chicago, where the one big city is able to overrule the entire rest of the mostly red state.
I know it still probably doesn’t help you must for issues at the local level. But at least SLC isn’t screwing up the whole country, too.

That’s exactly what we want them to do! We do not want this cause, your cause or that cause in our class rooms. We want two flags for cause The Flag of The United States of America and the Flag of The Great State of Utah. Fly your flag for your cause in your own living room or bedroom “for god sake”.

This article cracked me up … A new bill would allow for Nazi and Confederate flags to be displayed in some instances in Utah schools and government buildings, but pride flags would be banned.
Does this mean, people in Utah, would rather be gassed then pounded up the azz …

You know who doesn’t try to circumvent the laws written by Government? No one, if you create a law people will always find a workaround. The only reason there was a New Testament is because the people of the Old Testament found every loophole. Want the pride flag to go away, don’t make a big deal about it. When I moved to Oregon in 2000 every business had a pride flag, by 2010 very few establishments had gay flags, by 2020 only gay owned establishments had pride flags. Today it’s looking like 2000 again as every Portland business wants to prove Gay’s are welcome. Trends die out naturally unless there is oppression then they grow.

But there is no oppressions from We People. It’s expansion from those people. So far this year the gay pride center has failed and came back in a much smaller footprint. Around here, folk just aren’t interested who you share what with.

Sure, the fact that you created a post about this whole situation shows how much you are not oppressing the idea of queers in Utah. My AP English Teacher called it out my Junior year of High School. If you ignore sensationalism it will go extinct. Your post spread sensationalism by however many people viewed it, and now you are part of the reason that those flags will by flying in Utah.

Again, there is no oppression nor do I support their cause. The gay community has a tight grip on politics in Salt Lake City, they play the “Poor Me” card, the, “Oppression card”, the, “You hate my life style card”. However the fact remains, none of that is true. The gay The Palestinian, The People of color have just as much support as anyone else, in fact in Salt Lake they have more, they have the 100% backing of local government.

The only power the gay community holds is through oppression, without it they have nothing. Nobody will pay attention to a rainbow flag because it has no meaning. Banning rainbow flags on the other hand gives them meaning and purpose. If you want to see something grow in power, ban it, make it illegal, declare war on it.
In the US anytime our Government has declared war on anything it has increased. They declare war on Communism and more Communist are created, they declare war on Poverty and more poor people are created, they declare war on drugs and drug use goes through the roof. I am just waiting for them to declare war on the Rich so we can all become rich, because only if the Federal Government makes it illegal is the only way we will become it.
