@Wanda3 I remember standing there seeing the name of an uncle who was 6 years older than me. Then just walking down that wall looking at the names of so many who sacrificed their very lives for their country and each of us. And, the weird way I was standing just below a street but hearing nothing. I think of the families who came there to mourn their losses. I also remember it being very lonely in a sea of people. It is a truly amazing place.

@Tom206 Well said! It becomes this surreal, sacred experience. Love and grief all mixed together. It is a sad yet humble experience. You can feel it even as you approach the area. “Being lonely in a sea of people” explains it so well.

I’m just going to drop this here. When you make the Rock Gods rock out, you become a Rock God, no matter how fleeting that moment may be. Sometimes a song transcends the moment. This is one of those times.
I’ve watched this particular video hundreds of times.
Edit: I’m not saying they are actually divine.

@Zavier_D Excellent! That song is powerful, always has been. It does draw you in and sweeps you away into its rhythm and essence. And for 8 minutes, you are somewhere else.
