Ahh Ok, got you Megan. Thank you
Hmmm… I must have done it from my phone and then from my computer… Whoops!
Real question should be “Do you think the Govt. should determine which constitutional rights you get to exercise?”
I’m not to sure how to determine when I will need my firearm for defense and when I won’t so that answer has to be eliminated. Not too sure what is dangerous about carrying my firearm, to date it has never done anything but reside in my holster. Never jumped out and started firing rounds, never stayed in the holster and let lose with a couple of rounds. So, from past experience, no danger. That only leaves the correct answer. YES!
Holy Cow Edward, @Edward_D You must have one of those fuller authority semi automatic for your varmint elimination gunz as you walk through the street. lol

www.msnbc.com/msnbc/poll-do-you-think-people-should-be-allowed-carry-guns-public
This is a poorly worded question. “People” means all humans. Any person who can legally purchase a gun and has had safety training with firearms should be allowed to carry a gun, or guns in public. Anyone carrying a firearm in public is likely carrying for self defense. If you want to carry a gun for self defense you need to carry all the time. Those who are afraid of guns, think guns are evil, or guns are too dangerous to handle should not carry guns. Those who want to carry to make themselves look dangerous, feel powerful, or intentionally look for trouble should not be carrying. Those who say you should only carry a gun when you need to don’t need to carry a gun, they can just stay away from any situation they know they will need a gun. Since most of us never know when or if we will need a firearm to protect ourselves or our family we need to carry all the time.and carrying concealed makes the most sense. Those who carry should be aware of where they are, whats going on, and avoid situations that require the use of a firearm unless there is no other alternative… Carrying a firearm does not make us law enforcement. Carrying a firearm is a right, it is also a responsibility, if your not willing to be responsible you should not carry a gun.
@Dawn In my opinion MSNBC wording the survey to imply this is the Wild West which it’s not. Americans have the right and duty to protect and defend themselves and the people they love if they are perfectly legal to own a firearm in their state of residence.
