I was involved for a bit with AAU basketball when my kids were young. I know of a handful who played after high school and two who went to university on scholarships. While not everyone made it to the next level, they’re “ok” in my book.
Some members of that team who stole from 7-Eleven are a birthday away from adulthood and don’t appear to be on their way to becoming productive members of society.
