Just wanted to point out that Sparta deserves some creds in the eyes of progressive folks, LOL
On a serious note, I find it suspect, when people look at history and dig up something that is an atrocity in modern view. Anyone want to tell me that Sparta somehow inspired Hitler? Absurd! Anyone want to tell me that masculinity is toxic? Nonsense!

And on a more serious note, people have been killing and enslaving each other since the first clans met and the first time a man coveted his neighbors wife and we are not going to stop anytime soon. It was true then as it is true now, today!

Aside from Greece, and Sparta with King Leonidas and of course the battle of Marathon, there is crossing the Rubicon and of course, the withdrawal of Rome from Britain.
And, we do have the campaigns of Charlemagne, the various French and English wars, plus the Prussian and other European wars and conflicts …
But,
Perhaps the Decline and Fall of Rome is most telling and an example of current events.
Debasing of the currency, excessive welfare and public handouts, bread and circuses, …
After Marcus Aurelius, Rome declined almost continually.

For some, like the above unnamed B**_***c, racism is all they have, it surrounds them, it insinuates itself into their very being, they breath it, and where it does not readily exist, they create it, or simply express it in hopes of creating conflict and dissension. They hate themselves, and due to that, must try to stir discontent and anger, and make efforts to sway others to hate themselves.
If they can not cause hate and discontent, if they can not invent a false narrative to try to justify their self hate, to grasp and hold onto, they have nothing, and the inability to actually create a life or to live life and let others live their lives, means they are rather empty and vacuous.
Note: this is not a personal statement directed at any one particular commenter, the name used was only for an example.
As I said in other posts… race matters little. I do not like A-holes, and A-holes come in all colors…

Really? In which country is that? Surely not here. I seriously doubt your hated group believes in Democracy, and uses classical Democracy as a ideal, as they are supposed to believe in “White Supremacy”, they surely cannot believe in Democracy (equality for all).

You are so woke … Teaching all of us adults who do not care about race. All I and many of if not most of us on here care about is a person’s character. I don’t care about your politics, your race, your ethnicity, your gender, or even your orientation. I would hope you support the 2nd Amendment and that you are someone I could trust at my back.
Stop looking for scandals or secret white supremacists groups. We are a bunch of gun owners who like to talk about guns.
BTW “The 300” was a great movie for a night of 
not a call for all white supremacists to gather up.
Plus “This is Sparta” was a great line delivered by a great actor. That’s all your your Wokeness. Back to lurking.

I’m a Christian and this makes me think of how some people look at holidays like Easter and Christmas. They reference the pagan rituals that those holidays originated from. I’m just thinking, c’mon man it’s just an Easter egg hunt we don’t care anything about fertility gods right now. Just let the kids hunt their eggs!
