Maryland ! Carrying a AR 15

I know that the Maryland School Bus Stop is 100%
wrong, The only.thing that worries me is Biden and his Administration that has poisoned our nation.

Our education is what makes a difference and
we must continue to work at what is right. I can not demand anyone to take training and if USCCA is not right for them find some other company.

Some people do not give a damn. If I command and demand people, it will destroy or mislead them the wrong way.

I am not afraid.

5 wouldn’t worry me nearly as much as 1.

The psychopaths, the unhinged, that we say “why did everyone ignore all the obvious behavioral indicators” after the fact, they tend not to come in groups.

I am also going to assume from your avoidance that none of this was at a bus stop (and yes that makes a difference, significantly, in perception and reaction
which is exactly why he’s doing it)

Only bad things will come from doing what he is doing. If it’s legal it’s legal so I’m glad nobody is suggesting he be arrested for legal actions, but
only bad things will come of this.

I do not disagree with any of that, especially using a bus stop as a prop for a 2A protest.
[edit to make it say 2A]

Green Bay WI. also. Some people were wringing their hands and taking video but it was legal and the Police told them so. :us:

Again, an ignorant way to make a point.

Respectfully, if you try tempting the police here in
Northern Florida, you may get a long stay in jail,

All states are different, but what is going on is wrong
and I am setting in a Anti-Gun Community for many years now. You have to stay silent and be careful of
whom you speak to. Florida becomes Permit less

This is Anne Arundel County, home of Annapolis. I’m pleasantly shocked this is somehow legal. But it’s stupid. If this were anywhere along the bus routes at my school, parents would be ringing our phones off the hook-and our school is full of gun owners. I understand why people don’t like it connected with their kid’s school.

In a perfect world, everyone is happy with more guns around. In the real world, this kind of behavior makes people nervous and afraid.

More people should protest MD gun laws and Senate Bill 1 (which attempts to undo Bruen), but don’t do it at a school bus stop.

I didn’t watch the video because I don’t want to reward an anti-2A video, but is he really at/near a school bus stop, or is that just the worst possible spin that the news could put on this?

@Ouade5, he is really at/near a school bus stop. By all rights legal in his area, like many others, nut not the best placement for his 2A protest.

I do find it very interesting that it appears to be legal in many places to walk around with a ready to shoot grip on your rifle but if you pull your handgun out of its holster and point it at the ground you are likely going to be charged with brandishing. In more than a few places simply moving aside your jacket or shirt to reveal your holstered handgun is considered brandishing.

There are very few instances where I would consider walking around with a rifle on a public street. If I did it would be slung over my shoulder or down at my side unless I was facing a potential imminent threat. I live in a super gun friendly little town and have never seen anyone holding a rifle like that in public unless they were about to shoot targets at the local gravel pit or were out hunting and thought they were getting close to their elk or deer.

If this guy’s goal is to protect firearm rights he is not succeeding. He is having the exact opposite effect. If he wants to protest with a rifle do it outside the anti self defense law makers offices. But I still would highly recommend not holding the rifle in a ready to shoot position. I truly wonder if he is actually getting paid to do this by anti self defense groups to further their cause.

I hear you. I too sleep in the “Lion’s Den”. This story though, reminds me – despite good intentions, before doing some things, first run the idea past some others. So they might forewarn one.

I may agree with his rights, but not on how to best go about it - there are other ways to be an activist, or make a difference for the cause.
