I read that the man had a gun and two magazines. Here in NC you are not allowed to carry at Parades or Protests. I don’t know if Minnesota has the same kind of laws.

According to reports, on Saturday, January 24, Mr. Alex Pretti, a 37 year-old man, was shot and died. The shooting was by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the first of two videos (below), it seemed to me difficult to see or hear the details of what happened. In his vid, the presenter mentions that the alleged firearm Mr. Pretti had was a Sig Sauer 320. Thus far, I’ve not heard if it accidentally went off during the scuffle.
I was unaware that MN was an open carry state, though it might have appeared he had it concealed which is legal there.
I was confused about why he tried to pick up a woman from the ground during the scuffle, and why he seemed to be physically fighting with the police.
At the same time, I could not understand how with so many officers on him, he was not put into submission. Why “push” the other civilian (woman)?
From this limited and fast-paced view, I could not yet see why he was fired upon, and so many times, while he was on the ground, by what looked like - by three officers.
The presenter asks could one officer had shouted, “he’s got a gun”? Did it go off by mistake?
Calling for more wisdom by us citizens on how to behave, as well as maybe better officer training. Times are turbulent, especially in MN, where there is police and protester engagement. Since May 2020, when the George Floyd story occurred. January 7, two weeks ago, Ms. Good taught us all a valuable lesson. We all should know better by now.
This recent Fall, I was stopped by the police; I was “cool as a cucumber”. By the time they left, we were like friends (almost).
I imagine more and different angle video views may come forth as well as more information.
