My reply is “are you hungry?”, if so I drive to the clown to get food for the person. I don’t give some one a couple of bucks so they can get jiggy with a forty. I was homeless myself for a time but I was blessed with the ability to work and get help from the right places. I would never stand in the middle of the road with a cardboard sign that says “God bless” to put a guilt trip on someone. I have the ability to know what is B.S. is and what is real. I may not be right all of the time, but that is why times are hard for certain folks. It isn’t right, but sometimes that’s the way it is.
