I am familiar with this effect firsthand, after all who puts this rifle on sale for $8,999?
Now I HAVE TO stock up on ammo at $5-$10 per round!
Which means I now HAVE to get into reloading to save $$$$ on actually shooting this pussycat.

The one and only time I have dealt with PSA they screwed me on sales tax, they know for a fact and verified it with their State Tax division, that the are NOT allowed to collect NV sales tax, NV collects it on the transfer end

This is a huge problem with states overriding federal law.
The second amendment shall not be infringed,….
Individual states applying various taxes (looking at you Illinois, California, Colorado…. 
)
All that BS makes it harder for a vendor to comply.
NONE of that would be a problem if the government would just comply with the second amendment!
And IIRC, there’s a reason we have both the first, and second amendments….

I remember as a kid in elementary school learning about poll tax. The teacher taught us it was a back door way to infringe on people’s constitutional right to vote, and it was ultimately struck down by the supreme court because it was a constitutional infringement. Sound familiar?
@Gregory258 you’re a lawyer. Are you okay with these taxes infringing on your right to keep and bear cheap arms? 
Brother Will’s rights have been infringed, too. Care to bring a SCOTUS case, tying the unconstitutionality of poll taxes to the unconstitutionality of excessive arms tax? Honestly, I don’t really see a difference.

That’s what I’m currently shooting, it goes boom, but is giving me horrible accuracy.
Seriously 6 MOA is my best guess, I know damned good and well I’m a better shot than that.
