Congrats, Karacal!!
Thank you, I have been looking at getting one since they came out but all the regular CC9’s are completely sold out so I got the one with the 407k green😎 sights are blacked out
Congrats!
Gotta love a .22 fungun…congrats
Be prepared to waste a bunch of brass!
I have one and it is an absolute riot!
I have about 2000 rounds ready to shoot so there will definitely be a pile.
Every gunner needs lots of 22’s. They’re the ultimate fun gun that don’t use up much money and never get old. Plus, they’re good SHTF guns, and quiet. If you can’t have fun plinking with a 22, then there’s no helping you ![]()
How’s that little bugger shoot? Have you tried it yet?it looks great.
Going out in an hour when the temperature drops below 90 degrees.
I will report back tonight.
Have fun!
I absolutely love shooting 22, pistol and rifle.
Started shooting steel challenge with my tx22 last weekend.
I should be able to take this out next time, but I’ll want an optic of some kind.
Any recommendations?
I have a Vortex 1-4 on one of my rifles and it’s pretty good for the money. It should do well on that gun, and they’re reasonable priced. I also have a Bushnell 4x32 on my old Lakefield 22 and it’s got surprisingly sharp optics for the price. That gun, with that scope is crazy accurate at 100 yards, and is my favorite plinking gun.
Ok, after 100 rounds of 124g and 120 of 115g here is what I experienced:
On the first 4 magazines(115g) the slide did not lock back on the last rounds. After that it locked back every time and ran flawlessly.
It comes with a smaller back strap from the factory which I think didn’t give me the right amount of purchase on the grip so I switched out to the larger strap which made it better for MY hands.
I think HK could have added just a little more meat in the palm swell areas but some talon pro grip in the swells will fill it in for me.
Being in the Micro sized category (3.2”) I was surprised that it wasn’t trying to carpal tunnel my way into an unnecessary surgery but this has LESS snap to it than the 365, Reflex, and Hellcat.
It easily comes back down after each shot.
Having the 407 green mounted on it really gives it some help since my version did not come with the tritium XS front sight so at 35 feet the green dot was great but, with this pistol I noticed the hold point is high.
I did some drawing from the holster but like every pistol it will just take time to get myself where I want to be with it.
HTH
When i picked up my new to my gen3 G23, i remembered how much the factory mag release sucks.
Ordered a tyrant cnc extended mag release along with an extended slide release.
Someone cerakoted the slide and stipled the grip. At first i thought it would be too aggressive but it actually feels good.
Now that my wife and daughter are back from florida, i know what the damage is to our bank account and i can order some ammo.
Congrats, Joel!
Thanks zoldfrog but its just another gun. Wife still rolls her eyes when i bring one home, so its worth it
@TheKid did your wife roll her eyes also?
Asking for a friend…![]()
I’m reaching for that sleeping bag. I’ll drop it off next to your garage door. ![]()
At the time, pretty sure she did. Im a man didnt look. Now that the kid is a teenager, im sure the look is much different. Good thing after 28 years, she doesn’t expect anything new…lol
Besides, she rolls her eyes over a gun i just remind her of the money she spends.
Her latest ( way off topic)
Truck was totalled. Cost me 30k, to buy a decent used truck to replace it. Thats alot of guns.
Trust me, i didnt roll my eyes on her parking skills. Oh well, its in the past now
