Green tea is good for you as is hot sauce, why not combine the best of both worlds!
Extended mag?
No it is the manufacturer magazine 7+1.
Smooth bore 22LR shotshells , great snake gun. Nice
Hopefully only the ones with fangs!
Oh exactly! Should have been more detailed. I have a very productive and helpful rat snake in my lower yard. He or she keeps critters very well controlled.
Actually I use it for magpies more than snakes
That has to be the most niche firearm I have ever seen. Assume it would make a better pattern with the shot shells than a rifled barrel? What kind of range could you expect to put down a rodent or snake with it? Guess you could also use it for short range plinking without a solid backstop?
Much better pattern than a rifled barrel, the max range is about 20 feet. I had a smooth bore before and and killed 100s of rats with it.
Definitely seems like a very good tool built for a very specific purpose.
Would probably be useful for dealing with our gopher problem here. Though would still likely be considered an illegal discharge of firearm in our neighborhood even though you would have an incredibly hard time hurting any of the neighbors with 22lr shotshell aimed at the ground.
Seems a shot shell spinning down a rifled barrel would cause the pattern to open up big upon exit of the barrel.
Yup the smooth bore holds a much tighter pattern than a rifled barrel
That is exactly the #1 on my next tool list. Luv It.
I think a Rossi Rambler is my next one
Have to get a picture of the one I never planned to take home today.
Little back story, measure 114 in Oregon, caused a massive buying spree before the injunction.
With my mag capacity going to be limited, I grabbed a 44mag revolver with the justification of, if I cant have my factory 20rds of 9mm, I’ll take 6rds of 44mag and have roughly the same bullet energy.
Then I started to look for a lever-action and settled on a Henry Big Boy Model X in 44mag. Several months ago. One came into the shop but I could not afford to take it home, so I sold it. Months of selling guns, always holding out hope another one would eventually come in. Told the owner the Big Boy Model X 44mag was my dream lever-action.
Forgot about it for awhile, well, when I got into the shop today, the owner told me about a special gun that came in and it was for me. He told me, he was debating telling me about it when it was ordered but instead waited till I got in.
Yea, took home a Beautiful Henry Big Boy Model X 44mag.
Brother @Orpackrat that is awesome and I am happy for you.
