Leather Vs Kydex

Welll that sucks! Hopefully you contacted Kraft and return them. Like I said I’ve never ordered from Craft so I don’t know about the company but I know they’re leather holsters are made by a company named Falco. I also know you can go to Falco directly and I’ve never had any problem with their customer service but my experience with them is limited. I have two Falco holsters I ordered several years ago and at least at that time they were okay. Like I said before not the best but they were okay.

Hey Jerzy, Good morning!. I was watching an ad for a hybrid/leather holster Kydex/leather. Have you seen it? Saw it only once :us:

Hi @Arnie_W .
I, personally, am not a fan of hybrid holster. But that’s me.
I prefer single material for whole holster. The same thinness, durability, resistance and flexibility on every holster’s spot.

When I think about handgun’s finish, I go with kydex / boltaron holster with leather inside liner.
But these days, good quality handguns and kydex holsters make this problem go away.

I use one for my Glock 30/41, those are my EDC. I’ve had it for awhile. I drive a Convertible 370 ZX. So when I am driving the magnets and retention are by my knee and easily reached but I can shift my knee and it conceals my firearm. I really like it as it is an be easier and faster draw for me. I have max legally tinted windows so you can’t really see into my car when I take it out of my, on body, holster and place it in my car holster, or when I take it out of my magnet holster and put it back in my, on body, holster.

If you worry about it damaging the finish of your firearm, attach a piece of fabric to the magnet. I have added the fabric and a retention device. But I don’t think I have need of it. The concern is that a sudden stop or accident may cause it to come loose. I use a pretty strong magnet so it has not happened to me but I prepare for a lot of contingencies that may or may not ever happen.

I have seen the argument against using an off body holster. I don’t agree with them, but that’s why I have done some minor adjustments.

Picture of my car :red_car: for reference of why I use it as you can see my car has a very small cabin for driver and passenger.
