For me this one is better than Staccato HD series.

Has anyone else shot it yet?

Karacal, enough. Stop shopping. It can get expensive for some of us

Only if you’re buying for me also.

Although I have a Kimber that works fine, I would definitely wait for some extensive reviews. From the pics and model number, I’m assuming two things: 1. Swartz safety and 2. external extractor.

Theoretically, the Swartz safety should help with trigger pull smoothness (although I had to fit a trigger to mine to get rid of the up and down slop). There have been reports of some models randomly having the Swartz safety timing off from the factory, and the fix gets complicated (although I would assume the warranty would cover that).

It looks like an external extractor that S&W and Sig have had good luck with, but Kimber’s earlier models with the external extractor had issues IIRC. Hopefully they worked out the kinks in the last 20 years.

Absolutely looks external.

My 2011 has an external and I have had zero issues, hopefully this Kimber is the same!
