Strong rule of a fighting Soldier like myself. Rule 1 Move with it always. Rule 2 Never out of arms reach, even in the shower … just cover it and do extra maintenance, Rule 3 Make sure safety is always on and conduct random period ic eyes on to make sure, Rule 4 Access during sleep is paramount after home alarms / perimeter is secure, Rule 5 Never assume that any day especially holidays are safe- any day is an opportunity for a criminal mind.

Not more than an arms reach. The HH6 and I do not any longer have young children in the house hold. So we stage up

No more kids here either but Will comes over with dad. He’s 2 yrs old. My son knows/owns/carries firearms so he always calls first to tell us he’s on the way. We have a kid proof process we go through, guns in safe (not the ones on our bodies), kitchen cabinets locked, trucks and tractors out in the middle of the living room…
