Don, it’s you and your friends who can’t engage in thoughtful and respectful conversation. Im a proud supporter of the US, the Constitution, and the 2nd Amendment. I am not a supporter of Donald Trump. It’s that simple. You do you. But don’t expect everyone to agree.
Just for fun and for people who use vulger language instead of making useful contributions.
The First Amendment protects five fundamental freedoms: religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. It primarily shields individuals from government censorship and restrictions on these freedoms. However, it does not protect against restrictions imposed by private entities, like social media companies or employers.
What the First Amendment is:
Protects against government censorship:
.
The First Amendment prevents the government from making laws that restrict freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
Guarantees freedom of speech:
.
This includes the right to express oneself through words, actions, and various forms of media, with some limitations.
Protects freedom of religion:
.
This encompasses both the freedom to practice any religion and the freedom from government-established religion.
Guarantees freedom of the press:
.
This allows for the dissemination of information and ideas without government interference.
Protects the right to assemble:
.
Individuals have the right to gather peacefully to express their views.
Protects the right to petition the government:
.
This allows citizens to appeal to the government for redress of grievances.
What the First Amendment is not:
Not a shield against private censorship:
Private individuals, organizations, and businesses (like social media companies) can restrict speech on their platforms.
Not absolute:
There are some categories of speech not protected by the First Amendment, such as incitement to violence, defamation, and obscenity.
Does not protect against all speech:
While the First Amendment protects a wide range of speech, it doesn’t cover speech that incites violence or poses a clear and present danger.
Does not protect speech that violates the law:
For example, speech that incites violence or defamation is not protected.
Does not prevent private employers from setting rules:
Employers can restrict employee speech in the workplace, even if that speech is protected under the First Amendment outside of work.

Not just yours.
How many times do we need to post this. If we lived by it, we wouldn’t be having this discussion!
I’ve noticed that the rioters have absolutely no fear confronting law enforcement, not even afraid of the feds!
IMHO.
I love that Quote Brother.
They have moral as well as tactical support on websites like Crimethinc. It’s the budding anarchist’s goto starter kit, a collection of information to promote anonymous action against the state; an international rebel alliance for the renegade anxious to begin a career dedicated to destroying civilized society.
Downloadable content includes tactics to neutralize law enforcement like the currently popular handy guide listing 7 steps to evade and resist ICE

“… On this 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army, we pay tribute to every legend of liberty who sacrificed their life to keep America safe, sovereign, and free. As my Administration continues the work of protecting our homeland and upholding our way of life, we proudly summon the spirit, confidence, and resolve of the intrepid men who won our independence on the battlefield 250 years ago — and we vow that their legacy of courage will never perish, and that our sacred birthright of freedom will never, ever die.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 14, 2025, as a day in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army. This We’ll Defend.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this
thirteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-five, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-ninth.
DONALD J. TRUMP

I bet you mean that in a Southern way.
Everyone has a right to voice their opinion here weather we agree or not as long as we stay respectful to each other. This is why I try not to talk politics or religion people always think they are right and who ever disagrees with them is wrong. The protest in MY OPINION is BS but as long as they stay peaceful it is their right , once the protest turn violent or disruptive they should be broke up and the people getting violent or disruptive should be arrested. God Bless you and all on this sight.
Bless their hearts!
As sad as this is, anyone know if this suspect was apprehended yet?
Allegedly, a Mr. Vance Boelter murdered two politicians of Minnesota today. He was impersonating a police officer, had what looked like a police uniform, and vehicle, exchanged gunfire with law enforcement officers, and fled.
He was married, with children and had some ties to the state government of MN.
In the car he was in, were dozens of flyers reading “No Kings” on them. I didn’t know what that meant, had to look it up, it’s basically and anti Trump protest vernacular.
I plead to us all, let’s take a high road, not instigate violence, but be bigger than that, in our values and helping pick up others up. Cool heads prevail.
How, why? I got a million Q’s.
