June 14 - “No Kings” Protests

May be a good weekend to stay home. Stay safe, my friends.

‘“No Kings” rallies will be held in cities across the country to protest President Donald Trump and his policies on his birthday, June 14.

Why It Matters

The 50501 Movement (50 protests, 50 states, one movement) and other groups are protesting a military parade scheduled to take place in the nation’s capital on June 14, coinciding with Trump’s 79th birthday, the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, and Flag Day.

Multiple protests are being held in various cities in each state, but no events are being planned for Washington, D.C.

Organizers say that a major march and rally will take place in Philadelphia to “draw a clear contrast between our people-powered movement and the costly, wasteful, and un-American birthday parade in Washington.”

“No Kings” protests against President Donald Trump and his policies are set to take place across the country on June 14—the president’s birthday. NO KINGS WEBSITE

As if I needed another reason to avoid Boulder this weekend.

Booked to fly on Sunday morning. :airplane:

We’ve seen pointless protests all over the place earlier this year so this could be another non-event as long as antifa’s not involved.

Hope that you have a safe trip. Regardless of whether it’s business or pleasure, I hope that you enjoy it too.

Thanks. I’ve never brought a pistol before but now considering it. Researching TSA requirements now.

It’s a bit time consuming on both ends of the flight, but surprisingly easy to do!

I think a few areas may get sporty but im sure most places will just be an actual peaceful protest. Smart folks description of peaceful, not liberals description.

I know around here, they are actual peaceful protests. Only 1 got close to a riot, then the street lights came on and all agitators went home to their parents basement.

Just be sure you’re not flying anywhere that, for whatever reason, you are forced to land in New York and take possession of your bags. The mere possession of any handgun, of any type, within the boundaries of New York State, are grounds for felony arrest. As a non resident, there’s no way to make it legal. They’re probably the most unconstitutional state in the union, and quite a few people trying to innocently pass through have ended up on trouble.

the road.
Mariposa Park—1/8th of a mile from my house… Don’t mean nuthin’.

Yeah, I checked that map too. Supposedly there are protests happening in some of my favorite little Florida towns. Uh, have they checked the voting registrations of the people who live and work in those little towns? Blood isn’t as red as those places. Good luck with your little party, leftists.

It’s NOT a birthday parade for President Trump. It IS a celebration of the 250th birthday of the ARMY on June 14th. Protest against that and you’re just an idiot. Following and participating in the foreign invasion forces and Democrat inciters “Mostly Peaceful” burn everything to the ground, burn the US Flag and wave the Mexican Flag protests also qualifies a person as a idiot and cancels at least my two Marine Corps combat tours of Vietnam protecting the rights and freedoms of people to do and say stupid things.

BTW - The Navy’s 250th Birthday is October 11th and the Marine Corps 250th Birthday is November 10th. If shooting invaders, rioters and looters to protect US citizens is what it has come down to, then by all means defend this country against all enemies, foreign AND domestic.

I moved back to NC from Jacksonville in the fall and I saw that there was some protest stuff happening there this week. The week I moved from there I just missed a running gun battle on one of my commuting routes ending in a multiple car crash. Happy to see another city in the rearview mirror and happy to be back in the boonies.
