Aside from ridiculousness of the premise (they are going to protest democratically elected officials), one should take sensible precautions - avoid state Capitol buildings area, avoid “black block” types and crowds. Also remember that flag-carrying nazis may or may not be what they appear.
I think the best thing to do is show them we have compassion for what ever they are protesting for. That way they will feel like they are wasting their time. Once they know, they can’t offend us they will stop trying.

Nothing has ever stopped them from trying before.
Dispite our landslide mandate to change the past four bizarre years, they are hell bent on their resistance to reality like the socialist-communist movement has never given up hope of world domination any more than an Islamic monotheistic caliphate wants world domination in place of all else.
They are always in it for themselves for the long haul, and only pause to plan, and reload for their next attack while we are lulled into complacency between attacks.
Fug them. Im done with their summer of love terrorist tactics.

There is a first time for everything. My mandate for the next four years is a monotheistic philosophy for us. We are in it for us. All of us. G- d is. We are. I am. There is no room for complacency.

No they won’t, in fact they’ll see it as a weakness and amp up thier attacks.
I think there should be peace and a loving attitude toward all of the protesters. Show them we are really peace-loving people… And if that doesn’t work then BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF ALL OF THEM :O)
Ok, What I don’t understand is… Why is this any different then J6 …
They won’t be wearing red hats or be confidential informants for the FBI
They are within their right to have a peaceful protest. The apprehension I have though, they are more interested in mayhem, and that paid professional actors are coming to direct it.

Robert, I think you will have a chance to practice just that! It is but certain they will be chanting crap about the river and the sea. Please tell me afterwards how much sympathy and compassion it made you feel and how it did not offend you.
I’m kinda partial to the old airport firefighting tanker with top mounted water cannon if they feel rambunctious. Naturally, an official bull-horned warning to disperse should be issued prior to deployment. Upon deployment, action should continue until “dispersal” is complete.
@Alexander8 I know, I have outrageous ideas about protesting… I am for them. If needed, civil dissidence can be effective … Without the need for burning, breaking material or even assaulting someone… When it reaches the level other than peaceful… It is no longer a protest. It is riot and should be treated as such… No matter the party …
Sadly people will do anything for 15 minutes of fame…
I don’t think these idiots have figured out that there was a change of guard AND a huge change in tolerance of stupid. I HOPE they keep it peaceful…. for their sake.
