Is Trump showing weakness or Strategy

First thing on Fox News at 4pm was Trump postponing the TARIFFS on Mexico.
Weakness at this point doesn’t look good to me.

Do you not know why? Not a sign of weakness, more like a sign of triumph.

One step backward
when he already made
two steps forward
is not a sign of weakness.

Not weakness but the “carrot” part of the “carrot and stick” bargaining tactic. The President has “paused” the program to allow Mexico to reconsider it’s position regarding giving diplomacy with the USA a chance. Should Mexico make the wrong decision on any point, the tariffs can be re-imposed at any time.

The news didn’t give a reason at the time.

So…in a few hours each, Trump managed to fix a problem that Biden created and ignored for four years and labeled it as something not solvable. How is this weak again? Why would we spend any more money or time on it?

Mr. Trump is a business man and President. He did what he did to get both Mexico and Canada’s attention helping to secure our borders.

And funded…by those nations, not ours.

The “weakness” played well…. I guess this thread is as useless as any other “predictions” threads in this place.
