In an accident or disabled

How do you think you should protect your concealed weapon if in an accident, collapse, rushed to a hospital, etc. How do you safeguard the weapon, and get admitted without violating anti-gun laws? How do you let authorities know about the weapon and get it back later?
Hospitals have big NO WEAPONS signs, the EMT might have instruction or not about what to do for a patient’s firearm. What are the laws or guidelines?
