Any lawyers know if unincorporated Des Plaines is covered under the Home Rule exemption for Des Plaines proper against the Cook County Assault Weapons Ban in Illinois?

I’ll do that this weekend when I go there for my periodic range trip. Lived here for 5 years and didn’t even realize there was a distinction since all of my mail, government IDs and everything else just say Des Plaines.
