I had 6 bypasses 4 years ago. I’ve had an annual heart echocardiogram (sonogram) since then. Last week’s echocardiogram shows I have aortic stenosis. This basically means my aortic valve isn’t working quite right.
I am scheduled for a TransEspohageal Echo (TEE) on Thursday to further diagnose. Under general anesthesia they will put a device down my throat and get a more detailed look at the valve thru the esophagus. This will determine if I need a valve replacement.
I will report results when I know. I am headed to the indoor range In a few minutes. I think it will be good for me
