No it clamps to the bench top. It’s got recoil springs and nitrogen dampeners. The hydraulic remote triggers cool too. Testing handload accuracy just got precise and fun. Not to mention super easy scope zeroing.

I liked the rifle rest so much I looked at the other products they offer. I bought this too. It’s awesome as well.

I’ve never owned a pistol with adjustable sights, but can appreciate this would be a great tool to have for someone that hunts and/or competes with scope, red dot, or adjustable rear target sights.

If you’re going that far, make sure you’re testing different ammunition too.
Different weights, shapes (fmj, jhp, boat tail, whatever) and velocities can make a huge difference in POI as well as grouping.

I always sight my rifle before I go hunting with what ever round I am going to hunt with. I don’t have a sighting system so with turning the scope adjustments the wrong way and all it takes me about 20 rounds or more. With a sighting system, one takes three shots aiming at bullseye. Adjusts the scope to where the shots are and now your gun shoots better than you.

I have several scoped handguns. I can’t trust a firearms shop to secure the scope properly let alone bore sight it. After having two scopes shoot loose I now do it myself. The ammo for the .460 is high as hell,this thing will save me a several rounds.The rifle rest I’ll test a bunch of ammo…
