Oh Please do the math,
The state house and senate have super majorities of republicans, thus > 67%
The federal representatives are 6 Republicans to 2 democrats, thus 66%
Gov Evers (D) won the state by 51.2%, Sen Baldwin (D) won the state by %51.4.
The only explanation for the Democrats to have won (assuming no gerrymandering) is that a large amount of republicans voted for republicans at the state offices and for the federal representatives, and then switched their party allegiances to vote for Evers and Baldwin.
That is not a rational explanation…

Yes, I see your first statement was a lie. Not surprising. Where is the 3 of 4 seats being Democrat? You state 6 Republicans and 2 Democrats? How is that 3 of 4 being Democrat? The Governor only squeaked in a victory, that happens. Kind of like on the federal level where the House is majority R and the Senate D, and the POTUS D.

read carefully, 3 out of four of the statewide offices are held by democrats, representatives are not statewide. They are elected in districts with in the state. Then the argument saying that democrats are underrepresented in Wisconsin is sound. A good explanation would be that the super majorities are caused by gerrymandering.
If they are holding 66% of the power but have gotten > 50% of the votes in state wide elections, how do you explain?

SHamrock copy that , the little town I live in has only one every now and then. Like a lady killed her boyfriend. KAZ of abuse ! But no gang. here and every one is related to one another and I AM blessed to be with a pioneer that has a county road named after her family so I love never having problems with anyone every one knows me and. Every one act’s right and we have some people that are on the shif

Well because the majority of the people that live in Richmond are Democrats, its called selective sorting, people tend to move to places that have similar political points of view to their own… which is why democrats are ascendant in cities like Richmond.
This really is not rocket science…
So please explain this:
In Wisconsin, half of the people have consistently voted for democrats in the statewide elections, yet the republicans have 66% of the power in the state house? Please explain how that can happen with out the Republicans gerrymandering?

It did not. I believe we have already discussed this and you came to your decision. I have not researched your claims, but only used your data that does not support your conclusion. Ironically, you used the fact that there are more Democrats in the city than Republicans, but believe somehow that they should be able to vote outside their district to offset the areas where there are fewer Democrats than Republicans?
If you look at the counties in most states, the majority of counties are “Red”, so it stands to reason that those districts would vote “Red”, not “Blue”, as you claim people gravitate to areas based on their political views. That is not “gerrymandering”, that is reality.
So, now stating the obvious, as the governorship is based on total votes in the state, if there are more Democrats, the Democrat is more likely to win. In the districts where the majority is Republican, a Republican is more likely that district. Simple math, no tortured “gerrymandering” needed.

David 17? We have some people that are truly mad and we can take it easy on them understanding in the beginning of. If it is a voting district, those in that district get to choose their representative, not the ones in the other district. You already stated that you believe in “Red” and “Blue” districts.
