I had this same thought when it happened. While watching it unfold, I told an anti-2A coworker “I bet Nancy wishes she had a gun” to which said coworker agreed. That led to a “now you know why” discussion. Did he completely change his mind, no. But he did say, and I quote “ok, I kind of understand you now.” He’s even been asking me questions about where it’s legal to CCW and such.
