Last night while cleaning my .45 I started thinking “self,do you think this Hoopes could damage the wooden grips on this fine, new .45acp.”? I clean my long guns with it but never paid much attention to it. So what is the experience of the community. Hoopes on Wood or not. Mind you, I don’t wipe the entire grip/stock down with the stuff but I haven’t stopped it from getting on the Wood components either.

Just be careful and wipe out wooden parts. It doesn’t do anything bad, untill soaked into the wood.
I prevent wooden grips with Ballistol. It makes wood easy to maintain.
