Hearing Protection Recommendations?

I bought the Axil Trackr Blu and swapped out the ear pieces for a pair of generic Prohear gel cups. Very comfortable overall and the noise cancelation is brisk. The trade-off is that the Bluetooth audio could be better. I’ve a less expensive pair of Prohears with better audio; however, the sound dampening is better on the Axil pair and that’s of main importance. Might as well keep both sets.

I love my axils, but you’re right about Bluetooth sound quality. That was secondary to protection for me though, so I’m still happy.

Same. If you haven’t picked up gel ear cups, I recommend them. Improves the noise cancelation and comfort even more. These fit perfectly:

Nice. Thanks.

I picked up the Gels for my Walkers, it feels like air conditioning for my ears!

For what it’s worth my next pair of muffs will be Sordin Supreme Pro-X Electronic with the neckband. But not everyone is happy/willing to drop $300+ on hearing protection so I never recommend them to folks unless they ask for very specific characteristics that most brands don’t meet.

Have you looked at these?

They do look good BUT, notice nowhere do they guarantee waterproof? I have an issue with that at this price point.

The Sordin shows a 400 hour battery life, can the battery be replaced at 401?

Runs on two AAs.
