I have a hornady cable-secured gun box that will hold 2 guns, plus a separate cable-secured box, smaller, for loaded magazines (thank you Illinois 
). Both are looped through the seat frames.
My abdolutely-love-it preference is the Jotto locking holster, super secure, bolted right into the floor, but it may not qualify as a “container” so check your state law.
