This new “group” has to be targeting all the new gun owners
 The anti-2A know they lost the “you don’t need a gun” argument with the record sales being reported. Now they want to gather them under their tent rather than loose them to the real 2A orgs.

If you go back and reread what I previously stated, then you would see important info that I acknowledge and bring to the forefront. Background checks have been proven to have effectively stopped SOME potentially dangerous and mentally unstable people from LEGALLY buying a weapon
unfortunately, some of those people who couldn’t pass a background check still bought a weapon
we both know that if there is a will to do something, there is a way.
So do I like paying a fee for a background check each time I purchase? No, I don’t. Do I think it is a part of the process in this day and age of so many crazies in the world? Unfortunately, yes.
