OK I’ll bite! ‘DIRECT THREAD’? Explain it to me like I’m a (5) year old. WHAZAT?

Since it’s my turn I’ll take ‘I have a answer for $500 Alex’… is that removing the A2 Flash hider and this Puppy screws on? That would be extremely coinvent!

It directly threads onto the 1/2x28 threaded end of the barrel, no lugs

I like direct threading, even if it doesn’t have the cool factor of a qd mount. I read of guys having baffle strikes and it seems to always be a qd mount. fwiw, I have a banish 223 with a 1/2-28, a Banish 30 which has 5/8"-24 thread, good for the .308/.300bo/.300wm and an adapter so I can thread it on the 5.56 guns. My third can is a Silencerco Omega45, which requires different end plates to mount to different threads. 2 plates included, so can run that on my pcc/.300bo guns which it’s rated for.
I had to look up .220 Swift, sounds like 5.56 on meth.
I like shooting suppressed, but it sure fouls up an AR pretty quickly and ime requires tuning. I switched from adjustable gas blocks to Bootleg/FM adjustable bolt carriers. On a bolt gun, pure sweetness.
