It worked in 2020. Chaos ruled and then COVID. Trump took the blame for it all.
Times have changed and most Americans know that the Dumbs are the ones inciting chaos, promoting anti American policies and deny the will of the people and their president. The chaos is designed to once again wear down the will of Americans and steer the blame of their own creation on Donald Trump.
The 4 years since his first term ended have proven by their own actions that the true tyrants are the Dumbocrat party. We need to toughen up and let our President direct the beat down that the Dumbs truly have coming.

I Concur. I’ve stopped listening to anyone (podcaster/’White hat’) that puts ‘Timelines’ on anything. That’s the quickest way to lose me. It’s ‘past due’ that most of the Criminal Left’ are still walking the streets and breathing Rarified air (without the Lefts poisonous anti-American voices polluting it!) I cannot fathom how anybody still believes this Shutdown is Trumps fault ( TDS is all encompassing—to the bone I guess! )

As usual, Trump and his cronies are lying. The democrat demand is to extend the affordable care act subsidies. Without an extension of the subsidies, ACA premiums are expected to double next year. Illegal immigrants are not eligible to enroll in ACA program, so the claim that Democrats want to pay healthcare for illegal immigrants is a lie.
The Republican lie comes from the law signed by Reagan, which requires hospitals to provide emergency care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Yes, this applies to illegal immigrants, as well as people without insurance, foreigners visiting America. Because this is a federal mandate, the govt has provided a subsidy to hospitals to offset some of this cost. Otherwise, hospitals will need to raise the costs for those that can pay - or the hospital will go bankrupt. Trump has also cancelled this subsidy, so hospitals will now raise rates for everyone else. This, along with the medicaid cuts and ACA subsidies cancelled, there will be many many millions more uninsured people going to the emergency room, so healthcare cost will skyrocket, and many rural hospitals are expected to close.

The only accurate part of the above nonsense is the unintended indictment of ACA, aka “Obamacare”. I agree that ACA is a complete disaster and is doing wonders to drain the pockets of taxpayers. It is worse than Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
The subsidies, which were of course added by democrats, were meant to expire years ago, which was in the legislation that they, themselves, wrote and passed.
Then, instead of letting them expire as scheduled, they went the other direction and expanded them. This was done in an effort to cover for all the other disastrous economic issues created by the democrats. They then also made those expanded subsidies temporary. Again, their legislation, their votes. They did that.
How bad is Obamacare? It’s so bad that in order to have any chance of staying afloat, the out-of-pocket costs for those enrolled would need to be at least as twice as high as it currently is.
Back to the subject at hand…should we talk about the millions of illegal aliens that Autopen and the democrats “paroled” into the U.S. and the various forms of welfare, including healthcare, they suck from the system?
When an illegal alien is sick or injured and needs to see a doctor, where do you think they go? Hint, it isn’t back to whichever country they are actually citizens of. Who do you think pays for that?
Then there’s this:
The blue states, of which there are 14, are states that extend healthcare to people in the U.S., regardless of legal status.
So, yes, this shutdown is because the democrats want to force us to pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants, people who broke the law to get here and have no right to stay here.

It is because there has never been ANY accountability when elected officials spend citizens’ money without the citizen’s knowledge of where the money is going or what it is for. (AKA “We have to pass the bill to see what’s in it”.) This concept is absurd.
The freedom of unchecked power gives those in power the means to push agendas that are counter to what the citizenry wants. (AKA personal gain and/or even treason)
The country needs a NEW mechanism to keep politicians honest. (It used to be the press that kept politicians in check, but then politicians got smart and brought media into their fold)
In the information age, knowledge is still the ultimate power. We can’t fight the deep state if we don’t even have knowledge about what is going on at the highest levels of government. We need a mechanism that allows us to understand what are in the “bills” these people push on us. (“Bills” are aptly named, for We The People are on the hook for paying for them, whether we like it or not.) If you have ever tried to read one of these 2,000 page abominations, you soon realize why the country is 37 trillion dollars in debt. ANYTHING can be hidden in them.
