The answer is no, this isn’t something that I would anticipate happening. State Farm in California is a subsidiary, known as State Farm General Insurance Company, separate from State Farm in most other states (known in most states as State Farm Fire and Casualty Company). A few other examples of this exist, such as State Farm Florida Insurance Co (FL), State Farm Lloyds (TX) and State Farm Indemnity (NJ auto insurance). In some instances, the separate company for the state is due to vastly different insurance laws/regulations and in others it’s done to help protect the larger company from the significantly higher risks associated to those states (FL and CA being prime examples).
Further, the rates (among many other aspects) in each state are governed and regulated by each state’s DOI. State Farm has already done, along with every other insurer in the state, what they felt they needed to do based on the risks there (no new policies in some areas, non-renewal in others, rate changes, etc).

I personally can not stand protest of this nature… For one obvious reason … My lawn did not get mowed… the bushes were not trimmed and my house was not cleaned … This is an OUTRAGE we as Americans should not have to deal with this conduct …
