I recently watched They Call Me Trinity, a favorite from my teen years. It’s not as funny as I thought, aging might be to blame for decline in sense of humor.
well… comedy hmmmmm…. Kung Pow enter the fist?
I found them all rather funny
Kung Fu Hustle is great! ![]()
Action-comedy? James Garner
Support Your Local Gunfighter (1971)
Support Your Local Sheriff (1969)
Another dark comedy–
“Shakes the Clown” 1991, Bobcat Goldthwaite
I hear ya; I’ve had the same experience. I don’t know if it’s me or the movie, but one of us isn’t holding up so well.
One day, I’ll buy myself a Ruger P90 used by Ah-nuld in True Lies, one of my all time actio.comedy favorites
The movie’s so dated, I remember the audience whispering, “windows” during one of the key scenes in the movie.
I’m a fan of early Jackie Chan films, first one I saw was Snake In The Eagle’s Shadow, with action-comedy that became his trademark.
think his first US film was rumble in the bronx or something like that enjoyed it…
could see in that film the man was another Harold Lyod or buster keaton…
a physical comic
Nice call out.
Binge-watching the original and I love it!
A good comedy that I really enjoy is Hudson Hawke. It just tickles my sense of humor. Mars Attacks is another.
Tenet was too slow for me, same initial thought about Terminal List so I’m revisiting that.
