As a recent CCW class graduate, the first thing I would say is that Hannah would not have been in a situation where she felt that her life was in danger had she not initiated the interaction between her and the “victim”. Considering the circumstances ( did he grab and try to pull her into the car or not?), the sentence is Way out of line. Look where it took place and look who the judge was and while I don’t know who the jury consisted of I can only imagine. The sentence is purely political. that’s said, for your own sake‘s it would be well advised to be aware of where you are when it all goes down because it makes a big difference! Manslaughter with maybe six months and probation would’ve been the correct sentence but you’re not going to get that in this particular situation.
