I have a brake on one of my AR’s… it has yet to be to the indoor range, but it’s probably going today for a few test rounds. Sorry in advance, people… I kid. I try to be courteous and work with adjoining lanes. If y’all let me get 3 rounds done, it’s done for a while and y’all can go back to missing

One of my simple pleasures is watching my lane and the adjoining lanes get swept clean my the muzzle blast!

Anyone over 4’7" and 82 lbs. should probably consider trading out their .223/5.56 AR muzzle brake for a decent flash hider, esp. if using it as a home defense weapon IMHO.

Oh I wouldn’t use mine as SD, the fire shoots out the sides about 2-3 feet.

That’s because of the brake. Put on a flash hider and that goes away.

There are a few reasons one can have a brake. I have two rifles with brakes. One is 12 pounds and barely moves with the added brake. I definitely wouldn’t use either of those firearms for hd, but that’s not the only reason one buys a gun.

I have a bullpup shotgun that has a muzzle brake on it.
