A couple here have mentioned The “G” series Taurus. I know this thread has turned into a VP …well I’ll never know? My first EDC love was a PT 111 G2. At about 6000 rounds I started questioning longevity so I bought another. After a couple thousand rounds I thought, "Well these things are old news and I should probably look into a “new and improved” EDC. After shopping around I settled on a G3C. It was the golly gee wilikers! Just like the others but had a wider trigger that I don’t mind at all.
I guess what I’m getting at is I read and studied what I needed and other people’s experiences and choose a 111 G2 as my first EDC and the platform is what I trained with and learned. They all have proven reliable and accurate and I trust each of them to perform as they always have. I also have $200-$250 in each.
