What is a worst-case scenario is yet to be determined.
IIRC reading something like,
“A self-defense incident is over in under a minute, with maximum of seven rounds fired”
…which justifies carrying a six-shooter or a Shield 7+1. IMnsHO (not-so-humble), 9/11 and succeeding mass murders (not merely mass shootings) suggest we’re in different times. I will carry the maximum allowed by law.
