We were very fortunate Hurricane Nicole 
did not flood us nor leave us with anything more than tree debris to clean up 
When it became clear it was going to be a direct hit at my house, I committed myself to staying up to walk around inside the eye. Sure enough, the eyewall got here at about 2:00 this morning. So I got my chance to get bragging rights and walked around the backyard. I stayed clear of the coconut 
palm, just in case
