If you are capable/certified first response,EMT’ ect. I would definitely render first aid. But as others have pointed out it could be a liability if something goes wrong while doing it. At the same time something as simple as pressure on the wounds or possibly a tourniquet until EMT’s arrive could make all the difference. There is definitely a thin line in a situation like this, and so many other variables wouldbe present. I’m glad this was posted as it reminded me I need to renew my emergency first response and cpr certification, its easier than it seems and recommend everyone try as well. I had to get them as a grade in high school and I’m very glad they made us do it.
