Careful with that, a lot of vests are pretty good at stopping bullets or edged weapons, but something made for one isn’t necessarily very good at the other. Corrections officers wear different vests than street officers because of this.
The standard Safelife soft armor is rated for bullets, slashes and strikes. Unfortunately the new Hyperline is not, but they say they are developing a variant that is.
