I think the only people who have to worry about the government knowing they are buying ammunition are the people using it for nefarious reasons. I think the government wants us to think they don’t want us to buy ammo so we will buy more and that way it makes it harder for criminals. Just a guess.

I get the best deal I can find for what I want.
I haven’t really bought much ammo for a couple years now, but, when I do, I order online and get more ammo of a higher quality for less money

I understand with Birne govment they WOULD RATHER MESS WITH PEOPLE THAT LEAGLY. Do things . The criminals don’t care about anything but respectful folks who have worked all their lives they are . ON THE BITME LIST. Law enforcement knows I am not saving any ammunition KAZ if they need any I have it . Or it is coming . I care .

I really don’t think that we can be put on a list for buying ammo but we do need as much ammo as we can get our hands on to keep on reserve and for training because you never know we may be caught up in a riot or a terrorist attack. But we also might need to be able to justify why we have so much ammo in case we get investigated and like the USCCA experts and concealed carry instructors say there will be an investigation if any of us use a firearm for defensive purposes. I also applaud the idea of paying for all ammo and firearms needs in cash because debit and credit cards can be tracked.

I don’t order ammunition I buy it at the store and my last 2 firearms that I bought I paid for with cash and lately I’ve been buying ammo at the store with cash. Cash is still an acceptable currency ya know.

I buy small amounts of ammo simply because bidenomics has left me living paycheck to paycheck and I’m in the worst financial shape of my entire working life. I wish I had the cash on hand for bulk buying.
But the .gov says the economy is booming, and we’re all rolling in money, so I must be wrong.

Had this discussion with a friend in a 3 letter agency and his comment was, the government tracks MILLIONS of people and listens in on everyone. What makes you think you’re special. Buying ammo, watching porn online, buying guns, shopping at hunting stores. Millions of folks do that routinely. Those are NOT the activities that make you stand out and make their back of their neck hairs tingle…

i build all y own ammo and taylor my rounds to each firearm i own. i have 10’s of thousands of them stock piled. i shoot a lot and do buy some pre made rounds.

But for real… I do not care. I have nothing to hide. I use cash and cards, whatever cost me less. Training ammo is for training, so anybody who wants to know can know how much do I train… it is not a secret.

I have reduced the quantity and how and where I purchase my firearm related products! Never did give it a second thought a few years back.
I used to buy in bulk once or twice a month. I spent three days a week on the range. No longer, now I’m just waiting for the poop the hit the fan! No amount is ever enough, but I feel comfortable!
