Did any of you see this old jewel I was talking about?

Check this thing out , I couldn’t remember what it was but I found out. It’s a Winchester model seven in .351 caliber. This is what the .30 carbine should have been chambered in.

A good article on the .351 caliber Winchester Model 1907.

I’ll check that article out thanks. Like I was saying I wish it was what the .30 carbine was in and it wouldn’t have been such a whimsy cartridge for using it for a battle rifle, it really wasn’t made for that but they were used as such.
I can only assume it was a straight wall cartridge but IDK what year/s it was developed in . There was some mini-series on TV a few years ago I didn’t watch it but a guy on the commercial had one and I thought it was pretty cool so I took a picture of it on my phone and sent it to my son and he knew what it was and I love it and that cartridge it’s in sounds good to but IDK anything about it .

@Stuart_Bradley Hey I read that article and it was very good and that cartridge should have been in the .30 carbine because it was a much more powerful than the .30. It Would have put those little Japanese soldiers down for the count .
