For either the older Beretta 96G Elite Brigadier 40cal (guess it would be close to a 96FS but wider slide, shorter barrel, and just small differences, like having a decocker only safety) , or the newer Springfield XD Mod 3 9mm, which doesn’t seem to have a lot of options out there, and anything for a mod 2 may or may not work.
Thinking IWB for the XD, and maybe either OWB or chest strap for the Beretta when paired with my jacket.

I have 2 Concealable belt holsters (OWB) and I’m happy with both. Check out the Fletch if you want a thumb snap OWB.
I recently purchased OWB holster (for my Staccato C2) from C&G Holsters.
I’m very picky about holsters and mostly I adjust them to my needs once arrive.
However, to my surprise, C&G holster worked right out of the box.
Their hostlers can be setup for chest strap (you will have to contact them for details).
XD Mod3 is a fairly new product so finding a good holster may be challenging.
I like Black Scorpion holsters and they make one for your handgun.
