Is one these 4 flags pictured ( The official flags of the Nation of the Confederacy) ,or the battle flag which was never the official flag of the confederacy, so I don’t know why people claim it represents their heritage. It represented Death on a battleground. Not sure why some disrespect the south by disowning the official flags?

COULD I BUY A CONFEDERATE FLAG AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT MAKE THEM ANY MORE AND I HAVE FIVE CONFEDERATE FLAGS MADE BY THE FLAG MAKER FOR THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH!!! And SENCE I have the flags and the paper work to go with them !! How can anyone argue about the fact,!!! I have the flags and they are from ANNA. I think I’ve said it here before, but my Brother-In_Law was a retired Silver Star, multiple Purple Heart recipient Sergeant Major in the US Army. He passed in early 2020. He could have been buried at Arlington, but he told us whatever we did, please do not bury him there. It made him sick to think of being in the same cemetery with some of our recent Presidents. The Confederate Memorial did not offend him.

The Sacrifices, The COST, The PAIN and Suffering , THEIR FAMILIES LEFT BEHIND so these people can continue to accumulate Power and Money.
EVERY FAMILY MEMBER is a Warrior, they may not have heard the actual shots fired in anger, BUT THEY ALL SERVED! The STARS in the windows should NEVER be taken down! NEVER! The Monuments, the battlegrounds, the tiny plaques on some distant field should NEVER be removed, they should be polished! Say what you will about the CIVIL WAR, But they were ALL AMERICAN’S! and their actions should NEVER be diminished.
This is a disgrace.

Prior to serving in Vietnam, Jack taught military history at Oklahoma Military Academy, and after that war he oversaw ROTC at Arkansas State University while studying there and coaching their rifle team.”
No one can fully understand how you feel, but I can say I regret you can no longer laugh and enjoy the company of the ones you knew as friends.
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your brother. Dispite what he went thru, I am glad to hear he lived a GREAT life

Well you realize that the Democrats were the party of slavery? They also created the slave catchers to round up slaves that were running away. Even more telling the slave catcher would capture free blacks and condemn them into life as slaves.
Things to note:

Blacks weren’t being given jobs for the most part as part of the structure. When the depression ended there was a system that had been set up for whites that had been struggling to get back on their feet from a poor economy. The building complexes already existed, as did food subsidy programs that were used to feed white people.
So the logic seemed to be let’s house those black people, give them a check, and then feed them as well. Then we brainwash them, and we own them forever. And since we are at it, let’s break up their family structures as well. Tell the women they cant have a man in the house (including husbands) is they want help for their family.
Hence the “PROJECTS” were born!!

This isn’t erasing history, All of that is in books that anyone can read. This is simply not honoring a failed terrorist state. There is no need to anyone in the US should want to see their taxpayer dollars fund the maintenance of a memorial to people who defended an inhumane regime that tried to destroy the US.
Good riddance I say.
And, I can still read all the history of the war I want to read, which is no small amount. No history lost.

thing is they don’t teach what actually happened in our schools anymore…
a person now has to actively seek out information on it now… same with knowing your rights…
they took civics out long ago… IMHO taking a course in civics and passing should be required to vote…
