Is one these 4 flags pictured ( The official flags of the Nation of the Confederacy) ,or the battle flag which was never the official flag of the confederacy, so I don’t know why people claim it represents their heritage. It represented Death on a battleground. Not sure why some disrespect the south by disowning the official flags?
WDB444 I have the stars and bars flags made by ANNA THE FLAG COMPANY THAT MADE THE FLAGS FOR THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH BEFORE AND DURING THE CIVIL WAR I CALLED THEM AND ASKED THEM ANNA COULD I BUY A CONFEDERATE FLAG AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT MAKE THEM ANY MORE AND I HAVE FIVE CONFEDERATE FLAGS MADE BY THE FLAG MAKER FOR THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH!!! And SENCE I have the flags and the paper work to go with them !! How can anyone argue about the fact,!!! I have the flags and they are from ANNA. They are the southern cross
THE TEXAS FLAG IS AN CONFEDERATE . Country FLAG TEXAS WAS NOT A STATE IN THE CIVIL WAR!! It was A CONFEDERATE COUNTRY IN THE CIVIL WAR!! And Texas never surrendered . It’s the LONE STAR
STATE ! AND IS THE ONLY STATE THAT CAN FLY AT THE SAME HIGHT AS THE AMERICAN
FLAG
I guess CO is going to revive the flag along with all the other states wanting to hop on the trend to deny Trump his Constitutional right of running for president.
It appears they are resuming removal:
Removal of Confederate memorial can resume, judge rules : NPR
I think I’ve said it here before, but my Brother-In_Law was a retired Silver Star, multiple Purple Heart recipient Sergeant Major in the US Army. He passed in early 2020. He could have been buried at Arlington, but he told us whatever we did, please do not bury him there. It made him sick to think of being in the same cemetery with some of our recent Presidents. The Confederate Memorial did not offend him.
I AM truly sorry for your Loss Brother
What was his name if I may ask? (No last name given)
These are my Brothers who WE lost Oct 3-4, 1993
I didn’t know them all as a friend but they are MY BROTHERS.

And this year MY Brother,
Wayne J. Isaksen: WARRIOR, Father of (5) Delta. Shot (5)x’s, Blown up and LIVED a GREAT life.
This is what I think about when I read the Phuckin’ Bulls**t! going on TODAY!
The Sacrifices, The COST, The PAIN and Suffering , THEIR FAMILIES LEFT BEHIND so these people can continue to accumulate Power and Money.
EVERY FAMILY MEMBER is a Warrior, they may not have heard the actual shots fired in anger, BUT THEY ALL SERVED! The STARS in the windows should NEVER be taken down! NEVER! The Monuments, the battlegrounds, the tiny plaques on some distant field should NEVER be removed, they should be polished! Say what you will about the CIVIL WAR, But they were ALL AMERICAN’S! and their actions should NEVER be diminished.
This is a disgrace.
These people have gone too far.
Thank you Don
His name is Jack. This is part of his obituary:
“He grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and distinguished himself in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Command Sergeant Major, serving in both the Korean and the Vietnam wars, and earning, among other medals and recognitions, a Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Silver Star. He completed paratrooper training at Fort Benning, Georgia, coached the U.S. Army Rifle Marksman team, and was an elite marksman member of the President’s Hundred. Prior to serving in Vietnam, Jack taught military history at Oklahoma Military Academy, and after that war he oversaw ROTC at Arkansas State University while studying there and coaching their rifle team.”
No one can fully understand how you feel, but I can say I regret you can no longer laugh and enjoy the company of the ones you knew as friends.
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your brother. Dispite what he went thru, I am glad to hear he lived a GREAT life
Well CSM Jack
You can stand down off that Wall now and rest easy.
We’ll take it from here Son.
Job well done (Virtual Salute)
and Prayers for you Gary and you’re family.
God needed another WARRIOR, He only picks the BEST.
Well you realize that the Democrats were the party of slavery? They also created the slave catchers to round up slaves that were running away. Even more telling the slave catcher would capture free blacks and condemn them into life as slaves.
Things to note:
-
Lincoln was a Republican
-
Most blacks were Republicans after slavery was officially ended
-
Democrats formed and birth the KKK into existence
-
Former slave masters invented ShareCropping (The New Slavery)
Lastly, so ask yourself how did blacks become democrats? AND how did Republicans allow Democrats to convince everyone Republicans were the party of slavery and racism?
Just some things to ponder
Because dims learned they could use tax dollars to bribe them via welfare, food stamps, and other gubment handouts. While the republicans said get out there and work.
Pretty much!
Blacks weren’t being given jobs for the most part as part of the structure. When the depression ended there was a system that had been set up for whites that had been struggling to get back on their feet from a poor economy. The building complexes already existed, as did food subsidy programs that were used to feed white people.
So the logic seemed to be let’s house those black people, give them a check, and then feed them as well. Then we brainwash them, and we own them forever. And since we are at it, let’s break up their family structures as well. Tell the women they cant have a man in the house (including husbands) is they want help for their family.
Hence the “PROJECTS” were born!!
This isn’t erasing history, All of that is in books that anyone can read. This is simply not honoring a failed terrorist state. There is no need to anyone in the US should want to see their taxpayer dollars fund the maintenance of a memorial to people who defended an inhumane regime that tried to destroy the US.
Good riddance I say.
And, I can still read all the history of the war I want to read, which is no small amount. No history lost.
I think you mean, unfrick’n-belieably awesome.
Maybe just cheer?
So they are tearing it down for free?
I imagine the one time removal will be cheaper than decades more of upkeep for tax payers.
thing is they don’t teach what actually happened in our schools anymore…
a person now has to actively seek out information on it now… same with knowing your rights…
they took civics out long ago… IMHO taking a course in civics and passing should be required to vote…
it was not just about slavery… although it has become such in the minds of many… schools huh???
as to upkeep cost there is not a lot to upkeep… pretty cheap actually considering…
and I see now your choice of wording and arguing n such… SURE DOES SEEM like a TROLL/SHILL…
lot of people died over it… most did not even own slaves… they rallied NOT so much for slavery…
but for other concerns… industry… and what they saw as unfair treatment… by the north toward them…
and some were slaves that fought on the side of the south
it honors their sacrifice… I guess… kinda both sides… kinda suggest that with the name???
I have to say my opinion of your post… disgusting comes to mind… I guess???
so… your opinion of the USS Arizona monument at Perl Harbor… is that next on your list???
is the Vietnam wall on that list too… maybe???
IMHO Max20 is a shill/troll… the choice of words and slant of the post strongly suggest that to me…
seems rather educated when so many have to take remedial reading and math to enter college now a days…
kinda puts me in mind of the for the children thing… if it save one child… yadda yadda yadda…
while aborting them in massive numbers… destroying their lives with surgery and drugs etc. etc. etc…
sort of double speak out of different sides of the same mouth???
convenience??? kinda deceptive IMHO??? kinda brings to mind of this…
oh and this…
Lyndon Bains Johnson…
interestingly it later included all races…
ever read Benjamin Franklin’s argument on the subject… he said drive them OUT of their poverty…
and do NOT coddle them…
there USED to be a system called the “poor house”…
rather old movies mention it! Hard to find the movies now…
people did not starve BTW… they went there and lived and were fed and housed and clothed BUT!!!
they had to WORK at/on public property and such to keep getting fed n housed and clothed…
I remember hearing about poor houses. Kind of like what pres Reagan did with those on welfare. You want free money, go pick up dog poop in the city park. Seems like a fair deal to me.
