A scientist has discovered a means of propellantless propulsion. It’s a major physics breakthrough. Only a matter of time before the tech is used for weapons. Would save a lot of money though.

Reminds me of Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann, they found the big one as well but it didn’t really work out too good.

This could be same song, second verse. The first rail gun was demo’d in 2008. Also, things do not defy the rules of physics, but they may expand them.
